MS admission requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or a graduate degree from a regionally accredited College or University of recognized standing in a related field such as: Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
- Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.0=A) in the last 60 hours of a student’s first bachelor’s degree program.
- International students must have the equivalent required GPA (on a four-point scale) in the last two years of undergraduate coursework or have graduated first class with distinction and must score well on the Quantitative and Analytical sections of the GRE General Test.
- Students (International and Domestic) are exempt from taking the GRE who have degrees from ABET accredited programs (from US or overseas institutions) and meet the minimum GPA requirements of the academic units. Students who do not meet these requirements as outlined, will be required to take the GRE.
- Applicants must upload a personal statement in the application. The personal statement should indicate professional goals and reasons for desiring to enroll in the CEN program.
- Three letters of recommendation are optional.
- English proficiency scores are required for international applicants whose native language is not English. This program requires one of the following scores: 90 on TOEFL, 7 on IELTS, 65 on Pearson, or 105 on DuoLingo. Refer to the handbook for additional information.

- describe any research experiences,
- indicate personal research interests, and
- identify two or three ASU CEN faculty with matching research interests.
